The UN - The Rights of the Child - taking away our parental rights

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE

Has anyone been paying attention to what the UN is doing as far as children are concerned? The UN was the main step in globalizing the world and taking away the sovereignty of the US. The present regime in the US is very much in tune with the UN and they are willing to give up our sovereignty to further their progressive agenda.

 First the UN has a project called Agenda 21 in which they lay out the optimal number of people who should in any given country based on land mass (any guess as to what they plan to do with the rest?). Now they have the Rights of the Child agenda which is geared toward taking over parental rights in this country. All of this is their way of destroying our God-given rights as laid out in the constitution. Both Obama and Clinton are in lockstep with the UN. In fact you can see the map of the US and how much land is already falling under the control of the UN. Just go to the UN website and look at agenda 21, sustainable development, and the rights of the child.

 It is a sad commentary when we Americans have to push for an amendment to give protection to our parental rights. It turns out that if our God-given right does not have the term “fundamental” attached it may not be protected from external forces. The amendment is short and to the point – making parental rights a fundamental right of parents. We must push to get this amendment passed before we find ourselves facing international tribunals if we “spank” our children.

 Liberal courts (even the supreme court) are already using international law as the basis for their findings. Now I may not agree with a court decision but my disagreement must fit within our US framework of laws – not international laws. We already have a law that should protect us from too severe a punishment.  In the Bill of Rights:

Amendment 8 - Ratified 12/15/1791. Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

 And it is up to us to see that this is carried out. If we find a person being treated in too severe a fashion we as a nation must stand up and protest but we must not let international law dictate or we lose our sovereignty as a nation.

 Part of the problem is the progressives are trying to destroy the family unit and they are attacking it from several fronts. In the schools they are teaching a bogus history of the country. They are constantly brainwashing our kids both on their "rights" and sustainable development.  They are now pushing parents out of the schools completely. Here are a couple of cases you should read:

Fields v. Palmdale School District (2005) http://www.parentalrights.org/index.asp?Type=B_BASIC&SEC={F36BF540-C568-46FD-B0CA-AC76E4754112}

So find out more and look at your candidates. Where do they stand on this issue?  Parentalrights.org shows all the candidates across this nation and how they responded to their request to back the amendment. Check it out.  James Quigley in the 3rd district is the only candidate that supports this amendment. In other parts of the state mostly republicans and independents support this amendment.
